Just read a thread on using less detergent that the manufacturer (ie the profit-maker!!!!) recommends and remembered my failure with Eco balls - has anyone else tried them and succeeded.
Believe me when I say I do not have excessively high standards (with children, dogs and the occasional visiting goat, all bringing in dollops of good Welsh mud to the house over the years I have had to knock the edges off my house-pride), but I just didn't find they worked. I really wanted them to, as I am a low ranking Eco-Warrior, but stains stayed. I feel that washing in plain hot water (which is a thought for stuff that just needs a refresh), would have been as effective.
Please disagree with me...................
