Faulty kettle

I have a kettle from Morphy Richards that has started to corrode and rust around the lid. They have admitted that it is a manufacturing fault. The kettle is no longer available so they have offered a partial refund of one third of the purchase price - as there are 8 months of the 24 month warranty left.

Is this correct? Surely they should refund the full amount?

Hi, yes this is correct. A partial refund reflects the current value of the kettle.
