the car had been sprayed pink by them, they said pink sells better than green (it was green before) it looked great (as a new respray would).

I bought it March 25th and now a load of paint has just come off to reveal severe rust! Flaky, crumbly rust, on the lip under the passenger door, it must have been like this already when they had it sprayed and just gone over it without disclosing this to me. The whole section needs replacing!

What can I do? I think they should have to pay for the repair.

Please advise on how I should proceed!

Thanks

Tony

Hi Summerstar,

It depends on how much you paid for the car, how old it was, the mileage etc.

Hi Tony,

Thanks for your reply. It is a 1998 Mazda MX-5 with a full re-spray of pink, a new custom made white hood, whilt alloys and all the extras and I paid £3000.
