Hi,
I live in the Republic of Ireland .I bought a Lenovo laptop from Saveonlaptops.co.uk in May of last year 2011.The trouble started around Christmass time.I rang saveonlaptops.co.uk.They told me to contact Lenovo as it had nothing to do with them .I sent the machine back to Lenovo in Feb ,and it was returned to me 2 months later not fixed .I returned it ,and they now tell me
they are waiting on a motherboard .They previously said that the motherboard was replaced. They are the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with .They have no intention of fixing my laptop ,and are waiting for the
warranty to run out .Can I go after Saveonlaptops for this mess.

Thx in advance,
Conor .

looks like your not the only one with Lenovo Laptop issues my friend.

Sale of goods act does mention something about durability for its designed use. I believe a laptop is expected to be around 6 years.

The Sale of goods act only applies to the seller, not the manufacturer.

So I would go back to the retailer, advise the manufacturer has attempted a repair, and failed and that you would like a replacement or refund. see where it gets you :D
