Hi guys,
Last week I traded in an XBOX 360 console to game. The console was 14 months old and had worked perfectly for me. When I traded it in the guy at game plugged it in and placed a disc inside to make sure this was the case.
Today I recieved a phone call from the store informing me that the console had been sold and returned with the disc drive broken(not reading discs). They seem to be under the impression that I am liable for this and I am bound to now return the items I gained from the trade in and take the broken console back, even though it was not broken when iy was traded in.
Am I liable?
