Hi there,
new poster so be gentle,
we had roof valleys replaced on the advice of the builder under two years ago, one valley has now began to leak so we called the builder asking him to return to assess the problem. He refused and stated her does not guarentee any of his work. We asked him if he was insured for his work and he said no. As the work is under two years old my first question is how long should this work be expected to last and what are our rights conserning his refusal to even visit to inspect his work. We have confirmed our telephone discussion with him in writing and the main points we made were
He refussed to even look at the problem
He is not insured
We need to get this problem fixed asap because of the weather and not wanting to further damage the property
We will send him the invoice
Is this reasonable
Cheers,
