A word of warning to anyone looking to buy a cast iron or roll top bath from an outfit calling itself The Art Farm.
I and several others saw ads for on Ebay and Gumtree for lovely antique French baths and handed over several hundred pounds each upfront to The Art Farm.
This outfit, based in France, presents itself as a creative collective but basically has one member - Johnny Grant.
He insists on getting paid upfront, takes on average £400 for a bath. He lets you know it will take a few months to source and import from France. Eventually, when the bath doesn't arrive, the customer asks for a refund and is told The Art Farm doesn't do refunds. No bath, no money back.
Those of us still owed money by Mr Grant have written a blog about it and are trying to publicise it as widely as we can, so that anyone checking him out on Google will find out what he gets up to!
you can find out more on facebook by looking up The Art Farm Campaign group
