I had a collision on a roundabout this week . I was approaching the roundabout in the right hand lane because I was wanting to go almost all the way round. This roundabout has traffic lights on and the traffic was quite heavy.
The lane I was in eventually turns into the middle lane , so I would exit off the roundabout in the outside lane .
All I can remember is going round the roundabout and thinking I need to get in this lane. Everything else is a blank because the next thing I remember is waking up , upside down sliding along the road on the roof of my car.
I was helped out , very dazed and confused.
Its a very busy and notorious roundabout , so of course the police were quickly there.
I don't know who is to blame because I was knocked out ( if very briefly)
There was left rear side wheel arch damage to the other car , my car was on its roof and is a total loss.
I am so confused and no one seems to believe me , when I say I can't remember.
I was breathalised at the scene it was 0 . I was then taken straight to hospital on a board with a neck brace.
I am so frightened! My husband is very upset with me , I may lose my job because of its location.
The policeman said his investigation is "on going" .
Will I be prosecuted because I can't remember.?
