SELLING OUT OF DATE ITEMS

Hi Folks
I bought some hand sanitiser bottles over the weekend,. However, when I got home I realsed that they were all out of date.
I shall be taking them back to the shop, but can I get some sort of compensation for being sold these out of date hand sanitisers?
