I recently had to downgrade my Sky package due to financial restraints, however I then discovered that programmes I had recorded on to my Sky + box, on the channels that I had cancelled, could no longer be viewed.
On contacting Sky I was informed that this was correct. My argument that I had paid for these programmes and should be able to watch them when I want (which is the whole point of the Sky + box) fell on deaf ears and I was told that if I re-subscribed to these channels I would be able to watch the programmes.
Surely they would be breaking their contract with me if they do not allow me to view the programmes that I have subscribed and paid for.
Is their anything I can do, or any legislation that I can quote to Sky when I put my complaint in writing?
