Today I booked a training course, but within half an hour decided I didn't want to attend anymore. The training supplier says that all fees paid are non refundable.
I was under the impression I was entitled to a cooling off period (7 days at least) to cancel my order/purchase.
Am I correct?

If you booked online or by phone then yes you do have a 7 day cooling off period, if you booked it at a training centre or event, you would not. This is because it would be covered by the Distance Selling Regulations. Training courses are not excluded from the regs
