I bought a 4 year old car from a second hand dealer who gave me a 6 months warrenty, verbal no paperwork. The warrenty runs out at the end of Jan and the car has now developed a problem with the 'anti polluation system'. The garage keeps fobbing me off with either 'nothing wrong', 'no computer error message' or 'put some diesal cleaner fluid in'. I know that the work is going to cost or small fortune and the garage are putting off doing the work until the warrenty has ended. Help what can i do?

Debtors retreat
Take it to a dealer qnd ask them to run diagnostics on it, its not a huge cost and if it shows up a problem that proves your dealer is lying, you can claim back the costs.
