Hi everyone
I'm looking for a bit of advice please.
I bought a Citizen watch on 23rd December and a few weeks later, noticed that one of the crystals had come out of the bracelet strap so I returned it to the retailer and they sent it off to the manufacturer. I collected it from the retailer today, checked that the repair had been fixed and left the shop. I've just taken the watch out of the bag to have another look at it and the clasp on the strap has got several noticeable scratches on it. I intend to return to the retailer tomorrow to sort it out but first I need to know where I stand.
Was it my responsibility to check over the whole watch before leaving the shop?
Can I insist on a replacement watch from the retailer and let them deal directly with the manufacturer?
I live in Scotland, not sure if that makes any difference.
Thanks in advance for your help....
