I'm wondering whether any of the legal advisers on here would beable to offer their advice.
A husband over state pension age passed away a few months ago. A letter was written to the DWP to find out whether his wife was entitled to receive his state pension. They wrote back saying she was not entitled as she is not below 45 years old and is also above state pension age so is not entitled.
She is currently 63 years old and is residing abroad.
Is it worth challenging them? Are there are legal loop holes she can explore regarding this matter?
