Sofa from Littlewoods

Ordered a sofa from Littlewoods late last year and so far I have had three delivery dates the last being 18th this month. I have now been told sofa is in their depot - 30 miles away - waiting delivery which is expected 10th March. Three weeks to come 30 miles they must be pushing up. Never have I had such service and feel like cancelling the order but don't know what my rights are concerning larger items such as a sofa. I can see nowhere on their website that says I cannot do this but want to make sure. Has anyone any advice on this matter?

If you are experiencing what you would consider to be an unreasonable delay, you can make ‘time of the essence’ by writing to them, requesting they fulfil their contractual obligations within a specific time period (14 days), otherwise you will end the contract and request the return of any sums already paid.
