  • Yes, I've done the rounds. I like this forum though, it deserves to be more active. I saw your degree was in Trading Standards so you must have a lot of knowledge. It's difficult getting the breaks. I've been lucky in attracting interest from some high profile people in my fields, and I guess the fact I'm 'free' helps. It's my way of putting something back and I love doing it. I'll look forward to getting to know the characters here. I get very involved in other things at times, so never be afraid to drop me an email if there's anything you think I could help with and I've not been around for a little while. It doesn't mean I've vanished! lol
Currently work has been very much on the bailiff front with the TCE Act and April 6th fast approaching, and the 'interesting' situation debtors and councils are going to find themselves in thereafter. Meanwhile I do all sorts of odds and ends around and about. This was as forum I had never heard of so I registered to have a look around.

I hope my input is helpful - feel free to tell me if it is not.

    Best wishes,

    LondonGirl
    Hi,

It would take a long time to tell you exactly what I've done in the past, but I've done a fair bit ranging from setting up and running successful not-for-profit debt advice charities to working with some of the country's leading bailiff specialists to work to improve the enforcement industry as well as challenging some of the less scrupulous operators.

The charities have now been wound down as the opportunity came along to work informally (I never do paid work in this area as a matter of principle) on a recently released self-managed DMP. I realised I could help far more people this way than through my charities.

(more to come due to limit on length of message)
