Safe to buy from MFI?

I'm tempted by an MFI deal on a sofa at the moment but am wondering if it would be safe to buy from them? Does anyone know what would happen if I placed an order, paid for it, and then they went west? Any advice would be great.

I haven't heard anything about MFI going bust. However, if you buy using a credit card you are protection by section 75 of the consumer credit act. This means that if MFI goes bust the credit card company would be liable.

I confess I went to Argos in the end on this one
Didn't use any credit and they were giving away £10 gift cards on purchases over £100 so I will probably be getting myself a new pasta saucepan...
