Mr Kitchen

Regarding the recent posts on this thread;

620 Last Night - you claim that we have never provided advertising for you. Mr Kitchen, we are an advertising business and have no other interests other than advertising businesses on our directories.

844 Last Night - Mr Lewis, the call recording that we authority to provide to you, will clearly show the services being ordered by Mr Kitchen. Please provide an email address for you and the call recording will be sent across today.

911 Last Night - Mr Kitchen, this is not the case, you contracted for internet advertising services last year also.

744 Today - Mr Kitchen, this is not the case, you contracted with us for internet advertising services and not any other party for any other service.

Mr Kitchen

The fact that you were called by our sales team does not change the position that you made an order, contracted with us and provided your authority for us to bill your account.

We are not going to engage in further correspondence on this matter, we asked you to contact us directly which you did not do, we have proved beyond doubt that you made the order and you have continued to defame us on-line, you are responsible for postings and statements that you publish on the internet and our Solicitors will be in direct contact in due course.

Yours faithfully

Operations

I'm sorry if I said things I should have kept too myself but I feel very angry.you didn't have the 2 hour phone call with extreme pressure selling that I had,I thought that when I signed up to your company it was a good move for me but its turned into a nightmare and the amounts of money you representative was talking about frightened me because I don't have that kind of money.all I want is to finish all this and if you are as you say a reasonable company you will understand this.im not the kind of person who goes around slagging people off im just frightened.

I quote: "844 Last Night - Mr Lewis, the call recording that we authority to provide to you, will clearly show the services being ordered by Mr Kitchen. Please provide an email address for you and the call recording will be sent across today."

Operations Manager, I will say this one more time: I have no concern as to whether or not the contract exists. I am however requesting details of what service(s) you have provided.
Again - if you fail to provide an adequate response to this question I shall assume that either: no service(s) have been carried out, or alternatively that you are incompetent at answering questions.

Also if you fail to provide an adequate response, I will have no option but to stop dialogue with yourself, otherwise we'll be going round in circles forever.

Debtors retreat
Pay them nothing, change your bank account if you have to and take up their offer of a copy of that 2 hour phone call tape except that its not going to be 2 hours by the time you get it, it will be 30 seconds of you agreeing to anything just to get them off the phone.

Let them take you to court and proved they fulfilled their side of the contract, promising you business and sticking an advert on a obscure webste are 2 totally different things.

Id also ask your telephone provider for evidence of that 2 hour phone call if I were you, may be interesting to see how they account for the other 1 hour 59 and a half minutes in court.

No libel on this thread, just the truth as you see it.

There is an invetigative journalist who loves cases like this one, I'll forward the details to him, he may just uncover other disgruntled 'customers'

I signed up with this company for a years advertising last July I rang on Monday to tell them I wanted to cancel because I was not happy with the service because I had no leads from the add and asked to see the stats or number hits

The very next day I received a phone call from them telling me that I was locked in and I had a choice of a discount of £1977 or £2006 but I had to pay there was no way out of the contract because I was suppose to inform them within the first 14 days cooling off period that I did not want to renew for a second year. then he tried to get me to log on and press the electronic signature which I did not I told him I am going to hang up he told me if I put the phone done he said do not put the phone done because it will cost me £2006 now I know what he was saying was rubbish but I just could not believe the intimidating bullyboy tactics they used My wife rang to complain and was told that no such conversation took place and his staff would never say anything like that and I got it wrong and no one had any conversation with her so she had nothing to complain about. This morning I have received a new contract of renewal welcoming me to the company and asking for £1977

I have had a good experience with this company as I agreed to have the years subscription and have seen a vast improvement in my customer base. I did have my doubts at first wondering if it was a good investment and after a year with perseverance I am glad I stuck with them. I have great business and now I am noticed and If I may give my say to, I am grateful to be on the site despite who might disagree. I have time for them as they made my life better.

And I have to be honest I hate cold calls and I get them nearly every bloody day and In my experience I never thought I'd need it but this website makes a neat job of making my motor company's look cool and a specialist advisor in marketing your branding and your look to entice customers helps you to.All said it is expensive but it's been worth my money and time. Talk with the accounts and they might have a better offer if not then make a call to the customer services that's what I did and asked for more detailing about my company. :pThey are very friendly and will make your call important .

Hi
i am new to this forum.
well i am in the same boat as many of you with reference to this motortrades company!
i opened up a new business in july of last year
after a week or so of opening, i received a cold call as of many of you from some guy called "joe collins" from motortrades

after persistent calling me throughout the day and apparent discounts he provided he offered me a deal for 15 months (3 months free??)
on their website to advertise my company for a fee of around £300

did no way he imply i was tied into a contract for any longer than the time of 12 months!!!

today i received a call from motortrades saying that they sent me an apparent email previously about renewing which i did not know anything about!

i wanted to speak to this "joe collins" but apparently he doesn't work there anymore! how convenient!

as he was the one who sold me the deal and never implied or anything i was in a long term contract or anything of such!

now they are saying i owe them a a sum of money around £1800 or discounted down to £1500 or some thing silly like that to continue when i haven't even completed their term!

i wouldn't mind continuing with motortrades as admittedly i have had a few follows from their website! but not for a ridiculous sum of £1500 !

now they are saying they are taking this sum of money if i don't agree which i think is ridiculous!

where do i stand before i get legals involved?

thanks
asif

(sorry about spelling mistakes)
