Abuse
XL breaks Data Protection Act
as well as:
etc
etc
etc
etc
etc
Does this mean we can now tell people who exactly is behind the illegal website?
Me thinks so...
"Just because we have are getting a lot of abuse from other forums and people
trying to invade the site.. the more people try and attack, the more we will
defend ourselves until it stops.
And we will also posts the details live here for all to see as a way of
warding off further attempts from idiots trying to ruin our site.
NOTE:
By attacking our site and trying to place false orders, we are legally
entitled to share your information with the net. You may contact us at
legal@xltrading.co.uk if you wish for your information to be removed but we
will however expect you to sign a legal declaration to say that you will
NOT abuse our site in future, neither on the net or on any of our network sites.
We will also post any emails we receive from any of the perpetrators and
their respective email addresses which we can use to have threads deleted
from online forums due to their abusive content.
Paul C. Dickie [pcd@bozzie.demon.co.uk]
I have been on-line since 1993 and it is more than a little conceited of
you to tell me about defamation. Have you ever heard of Dr Godfrey, the
chap who successfully sued Demon? He's one of my friends...
Demon (and most, if not all, other ISPs) differentiates between abuse
_on_ the 'net and abuse _of_ the 'net. Hence, I could call you pretty
much anything I pleased and Demon would not be bothered at all, as they
no longer operate their own Usenet servers. The news servers used by
some Demon customers are now based in America, where English law has
little or no effect. I do not even use those news servers, as I changed
to another Usenet server some time ago - and that server isn't in the
UK, either.
To issue a cancel request for any of my postings, you would have forge
that request in my name and that, sunshine, would be illegal.
As you did not comply with my previous demand that you cease and desist
from sending emails, I have forwarded your second email to your service
provider as I stated I would.
DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL.
I DO NOT WISH TO HEAR FROM YOU AGAIN.
